This large span hangar project for Bombardier Aerospace Services is located in Seletar Aerospace Hub and is a major upgrade to their existing MRO facility. This project proposes to build on the 2 sides of the existing Bombardier building as such to connect the buildings on the 3 land parcel into 1 integrated hangar and maintenance facility. The main hangar is designed to be a column-free structure and is capable of holding 5 large aviation jets and 8 smaller learjets. The maintenance facilities is adjacent to the runway taxiway and include a large and comprehensive MRO support and 2 paint booths, as well as an outdoor blast pen. The facility is proposed to reflect a state of the art facility with the smooth flowing roof and exterior cladding. The facility also includes a future private immigration terminal with recreational and resting facilities for travelling pilots and customers.
