Skygreens is an innovative sustainable farming ecosystem that harnesses resources from the sun, wind and rain, employing concepts of the circular economy. It encompasses not only farming, but supporting facilities like commercial, production, tourism, education and research. It is formed by the arrangement of many farming modules that are master planned to fit any context and scale all over the world. Each module consists of a vertical rotating vegetable farming system at the upper level, supporting facilities and livestock/aquaculture at the lower level.
The SkyGreens Hub works symbiotically with smaller singular modules called MicroFarms, serving as a base for collection of farming output from the MicroFarms and functioning as a processing, distribution and knowledge transfer centre.
