Kallang Riverside ➞

Overlooking the Kallang River, the 30 storey mixed-use condominium development commands stunning panoramic views of the Kallang riverside waterfront. The ground floor is envisioned as a fenceless public space, encouraging fluid pedestrian circulation between the development and the surrounding park. Lush greenery is incorporated extensively in the design, with sky gardens, planters and green walls well integrated into every public and residential communal area, providing a seamless transition between the park and the development. This project represents a keen response to the site conditions and the need to design a more liveable and sustainable mode of vertical living in our dense urban environment.

Applied Materials ➞

As an exemplary showcase of the possibilities of sustainability in an industrial building, the Applied Materials Building seeks to comprehensively combine technological solutions with architectural design measures. To achieve this, the building possesses an in-depth suite of solutions to tackle electrical, cooling, water and work environment efficiency, with features such as rainwater harvesting, reusing treated greywater, energy efficient lighting and one of the largest solar farms in Singapore. All these technological features work in tandem with the courtyards, extensive green walls and effusive natural lighting throughout the entire building.
