TimMac @ Kranji ➞

The JTC TimMac@Kranji sets out to break the stereotypical image of an industrial building, combining innovative land intensification methods with extensive sustainable architectural measures. To efficiently use the long, linear site, a single heavy vehicle ramp was cleverly designed to effectively serve two buildings, each with its own different set of floors levels and tenants. The implementation of numerous vertical greenery and sky gardens creates ground planes at different levels, easing the future tenants’ transition from typical single storey flat to multi-storey complex. In addition, these green features soften the edges of the building form, reducing its ecological impact on the wildlife of nearby Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve.
